Alan has been a Director of development and mining companies in Asia, Australia, China, India, the Middle East, and New Zealand, and was the Group General Manager and Deputy CEO of the Global Group and Global Partners (Asia) Limited, with offices in Auckland, Beijing, Hong Kong and Shanghai. Alan has a diverse background working in and out of South East Asia and P R China for 40 years, spanning the project development and project management, energy, mining, engineering, finance, investment banking and corporate advisory, and property and marketing sectors.

An experienced Project Manager on major project works in Indonesia and the Philippines, Alan was also responsible for key aspects of the heavy engineering for a number of major New Zealand energy projects, and the Marketing Director of Blufoods during their market entry into China. Aside from his work, Alan is an accomplished marathon runner and Ironman triathlete, and for many years now his passion has been assisting with humanitarian aid projects in remote villages in Nepal, the eastern Himalayas, Myanmar, and China.

Graeme is a Director of the New Zealand Commodities Exchange, Laurium Asset Management, Laurium Partners, and Agricultural Estates Limited. He is the Founder and Principal of Laurium House Limited, an asset management, accounting and business consultancy. He has also been involved in a number of financial institutions, including Australasia’s largest bank, the ANZ, NZ Funds Management, and merchant bank Fay, Richwhite and Company, as well as being the Finance Director of several mid-tier Australian mining companies in Australia.

Graeme was the architect behind the development of the New Zealand Venture Capital Association Incorporated. He was the Founder of the NZ Middle East Business Council and acted as Secretary for a number of years. Graeme has an MBA, and Dip Bus (Finance) both from the University of Auckland and a Bachelor of Management Studies (Accounting & Economics) from the University of Waikato. Graeme is a Chartered Accountant with full membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of New Zealand. Outside work Graeme enjoys international travel, cycling and time with family.
